The Chic Thrifter

Ondine's style is created straight out of vintage and thrift shops but does it look it? No.
She mastered the art of "Chic Thrifting". We absolutely loved her pulled together ensemble, and
all for under 30 dollars, might we add.

Unique Vintage

Vintage Embroidered Jacket
The most difficult part about buying vintage clothing is finding the right spots and then searching and searching until the perfect piece is found. Vintage jackets are usually a good find because they are made to last longer and will hold up through the years well. Urban Outfitters has a line called Urban Renewal and with the use of recycled fabrics, makes unique clothing for every single piece they sell. So in the comfort of your own home... go online and vintage shop!

Minimalismista #3

Cape: Zara $79 Pants: H&M $49 Belt: Vintage

This look is effortless yet looks perfectly put together. The trick to mastering the Minimalistic key trend for the season is to stick to neutral monochromatic colors. Make sure each individual piece plays off of the next so the result is simple, clean lines. Doina does it best in her nude monochromatic look.

Let's be thrifty!

Lexi's complete look shows how Thrifting can be chic and great for our FRINGE followers on a budget. 1. Vintage little flower sweater - $3 Salvation Army  2. Vintage Plaid Wrap Dress - Thrifted 3. Thigh Highs - $12 Target (Who would have thought?) 4. Blue Vintage Suede Lace Ups - $1 Thrifted

...bloom in late autumn.

Who said you can only wear floral in the spring and summer? FRINGE loves the Seasonless trend.

"Because it's my favorite childhood sweater!"

Take an old favorite sweater and bring it back to life! Sara loved her elephant sweater as a kid and she loves it just as much now - pairing it with her belted jean shorts which used to be an ordinary pair of blue jeans that she just cut into shorts, and some heathered-grey tights. Cute!

Mix n' Match Grandpa

Carmen adds her Grandpa's old sweater to complete her Seasonless look. Who ever thought Grandpa was so trendy?

What's your best holiday memory?
It's hard to think of just one, but a few years ago when we got a lot of snow, a bunch of us went sledding down a steep path in the snow with a thermos of hot buttered rum.  That's a pretty good memory.

Favorite holiday movie?
Elf...just thinking about that burp scene cracks me up.

What's the best present you've ever given?
I think it might be the one I'm giving my husband this year– but it's still a secret until he opens it!

Holiday shopping: Get it done early or last minute?
I love it!  I usually start around now, in November.  I like finding gifts for people that I think they'd love but wouldn't buy for themselves.

Lily Raskind

What present are you hoping for this year?
I'm hoping for a silver Confetti System piñata, but I think it's a gift I'll have to get for myself.

Favorite holiday tradition?
White lights in the trees at night.

Most annoying holiday song?
Mostly I just don't like the general overkill that happens in December– it makes even the good songs annoying.

Best New Years kiss?
Ever year's kiss from my husband is my favorite!

Favorite things about the holidays?
Latkes and applesauce, getting together with family and friends and bundling up in lots of layers.

P.S. I made this....

What is
?

P.S. I made this is a movement.
It is a call to action to
reimagine, reuse & reinvent.

"I see it. I like it. I make it."

This website basically gives inspiration on how to make fashionable accessories and clothing at a cheaper price. AND how cool is it if you can tell people you made it yourself?!

Cut - it - out… Literally!  There’s no time like the present to give yourself a present!  Being crafty and creating fun fashions can take seconds.  Case in point: The cut out sweatshirt! REIMAGINE, REUSE, &  REINVENT this very instant.  Take two things you probably already have at home: a sweatshirt and your trusty scissors and get inspired by the casual cool Alexander Wang and the athletic inspired looks were seeing all around.  Going the distance is easy when you sport the sporty look like a DIY Champ!
P.S.- My good friends at Fashionista.com and I both agree that GREY is the new BLACK!  We teamed up for a fun video DIY.  Click HERE to watch the how-to- and say P.S.- I made this…!
